Hidden Springs Farm is currently a private residence, used as a family retreat for rest and relaxation.

  • What could the farm be used for?

 

The size, location, and facilities on the property make Hidden Springs Farm ideal for a variety of functions and purposes. The property would make an excellent bed and breakfast, wedding/special events venue, or corporate retreat. There is also enough cleared land to maintain an effective working farm for agriculture, livestock, or horse boarding. There is even enough wildlife to create Virginia's most luxurious hunt club.

  • What is there to do on and around the farm?

 

There are miles of trails for hiking and riding (ATV's or horses), and plenty of room for hunting and camping too. The property sits right up against Shenandoah National Park, providing endless opportunities for outdoor fun. There is a giant spring fed pond for swimming and fishing, and numerous streams and rivers in the surrounding area for fly fishing. There are also many local attractions. You can see the waterfalls at white oak canyon, climb old rag mountain, visit the famous Graves Mountain Lodge, or enjoy a tasting at the Early Mountain Winery or Copper fox distillery. Luray Caverns and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway are also a beautiful drive away.

  • How does TV, phone, and internet work?

 

Hidden Springs Farm has full high definition (HD) satellite television. There are 6 HD flat screen televisions with Blu-ray players spread across the different houses. The Main House and the Farm House both have wireless satellite internet, with speeds capable of streaming video. There are also land lines at the Main House, Farm House, and summer kitchen along with cell phone service.

  • What happens if the power goes out?

 

In the extremely rare event that power goes out, both the Farm House and the Main House have whole house generators that automatically activate when power is lost. These propane generators are supplied by two, one thousand gallon tanks.

  • Is it okay to go hunting on the property?

 

Yes! Hunters in the area find great success in season for deer, turkey, and black bears.
